Fatih Institute is expanding the educational services that have successfully served students and families since 2019. Nausheen Akhter, founder and experienced teacher, integrates core English and Math curriculum with a substantial STEM and Art component to help students attain grade-level skills, and encourage their confidence and curiosity in learning.

Core Academics

The English courses are designed with homeschooling students in mind. They are based on the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards and offer students an opportunity for rich discussions. Students will also do short and long writing exercises to deepen their analysis and learn how to develop arguments.

Spark Curiosity

Explore the STEM, Model Building Math, and Islamic Art classes, which are great for students in various educational models. In the dynamic and rapidly changing world we live in, problem solving and quick thinking are vital. Research also shows that students learn best in areas of interest. The STEM, Model Building, and Islamic Art classes are designed with these principles in mind. They are great options as either part of a core academic program or as enrichment.

Build Communities of Young Muslims

The need for identity affirmation in the developmental years is important. For our students, seeing themselves in their teachers and peers is an empowering experience, alhamdulillah. A classroom where we can refer back to Islamic values during an English discussion or the contributions of Muslim scientists and artists strengthens iman in young hearts, by the will of Allah.

We experienced this first-hand in our Precious Hearts Islamic Summer Camp 2020 and hope to continue with success from Allah this academic year.

Parent Feedback

I highly recommend Nausheen as a teacher. She will not only catch your children up in areas where they are behind, but she also has the unique ability to work differently with each child depending on their needs and learning styles. Both of my boys enjoy learning with her and look forward to their lessons. As a parent, I am very happy with the skills and confidence she has developed in them. - S. Mirza
